My HP laptop came with Vista loaded, but I have had to remove Vista and replace it with Windows XP. Now none of the divers are working.
I have managed to replace most of the drivers, but I am missing a few key ones. I think that I will be OK once I can connect to the internet because I can than use one of the Driver Managers to automatically find and download all the drivers I need.
The key missing driver is the Network driver.
My software says the missing drivers are called 'NVidia nForce Networking Controller' and 'NVidia nForce PCI System Management.'
It also tells me that the drivers are also needed for 'AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-64.'
My Device Manager says the missing drivers are for 'Ethernet Controller' and 'Network Controller'.
I am also missing the 'OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller' and 'Video Controller (VGA Compatible)'.
The laptop is an HP Pavilion dv9600 (dv9605ea) running Windows XP SP3.
Google has failed to find these drivers. Can anyone please help?

Perry
